The Martu People

The Martu people, Indigenous Australians from the Western Desert region of Western Australia, have a rich cultural heritage spanning tens of thousands of years. They maintain a deep connection to their land, known as Martu country.

Their purpose is to preserve and strengthen their cultural identity, land connection, and community well-being while navigating modern challenges and striving for justice and equality in Australian society.
